PRIVACY POLICY & COOKIES

1.   Content of the privacy policy

In this privacy policy you will find information about the principles of processing and protection of personal data, which Polish Hotel Company Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw (02-822) at ul. Poleczki 31, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under the number: 0000296747 (hereinafter referred to as: the Company, acquires by means of a website operating at the following addresses: www.hiex-wa.com and www.express-warsawairport.com (hereinafter referred to as: the Website). In addition, we would like to inform you about the entities to whose websites you will find links on the Website and about the cookies used by the Website.

2.   Provisions governing the processing of personal data

Polish Hotel Company Sp. z o.o. pays special attention to the protection of personal data and therefore personal data processed by means of the Website are processed in a manner consistent with the provisions of the law on the protection of personal data in force in the Republic of Poland. When processing your personal data, we fulfil the obligations resulting from Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as: The Regulation) and the applicable provisions of the national law.

3.   Information relating to the processing of personal data

The Company is the Administrator of your personal data provided when ordering the subscription to the newsletter offered within the framework of the functioning of the Website, i.e. the e-mail address to which the newsletter will be sent. The basis for processing your personal data, i.e. your e-mail address, for the purpose of sending the newsletter is the consent referred to in Article 6, sec. 1, item "a" of the Regulation. Consent to the processing of data for the purpose of sending a newsletter, consent to receiving commercial information by electronic means and consent to sending offers under direct marketing is voluntary, but necessary in order to receive a newsletter.

Your personal data is processed for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The newsletter may contain information about products or services provided by the Company or third parties cooperating with the Company. Providing your e-mail address is voluntary and its application is necessary in order to receive newsletter from the Company.

After subscribing to the newsletter, you will receive an activation link to your e-mail address, confirming the correctness of your e-mail address and your willingness to subscribe to the newsletter. To receive the newsletter, please click on the activation link you received.

The recipients of personal data, i.e. e-mail addresses, may be entities providing hosting, IT support and marketing services to the Company to the extent necessary for the provision of each of these services.

Your personal data processed on the basis of your consent will be stored until your consent is revoked.

You have the right to request access to personal data, to rectify, erase or limit the processing, as well as the right to transfer the data to another administrator. The consent granted may be revoked at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of the consent prior to revocation.

You have the right to object to the processing of your data for the purposes of direct marketing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

4.     Links to external websites and plug-ins

On the Website there are links or plug-ins to:

  • reservation, which is made on the website www.ihg.com
  • of the opinions gathered at www.ihg.com;
  • the IHG® Rewards Club loyalty program, for which registration is available at www.ihg.com;
  • social networking sites (Facebook, Google+ and Twitter) and TripAdvisor;

Personal data processed (among others transferred) by means of these websites are administered by third parties and the Company is not their administrator. The processing of your personal data is governed by the law to which the administrators of these services are subject and by their internal regulations (e.g. privacy policy). However, this does not mean that some of the data will not be provided to the Company, e.g. on the basis of a data outsourcing agreement, or will not be provided to the Company for administration (e.g. after making a reservation on the website www.ihg.com). In such situations, the Company will fulfil its disclosure obligations towards you.

5.   Cookies

Cookies are text files. They are saved on the disk of the end device (i.e. the device with which you browse the Website). They are used to recognize the device when you reconnect to a particular website. Cookies are used to better determine your individual needs. They do not allow you to be identified. The Company does not share information obtained using this technology with third parties.

Poleczki 31 (hereinafter referred to as "the Company").

The legal basis for processing your personal data, i.e. your e-mail address, for the purpose of sending the newsletter is the consent referred to in art. 6, sec. 1, item "a" of the Regulation. The expression of all the above consents is voluntary, but necessary in order for you to receive the Company's newsletter.
